What have we been up to?
Over the past fortnight, it’s fair to say the GC Reports team have been kept on their toes with two weeks packed full of essential certification and industry engagement.
As always, your projects are our priority and we have been working tirelessly on detailed SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) Calculation Projects, producing both Domestic and Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and carrying out essential Sound Insulation Testing nationwide. Ensuring these crucial elements of compliance are completed efficiently, thoroughly and to your best needs is of the utmost importance to us and we have been working incredibly hard to do this.
Between working on these projects, we also dedicated time to take a special visit to London, attending the London Build Expo 2025 at Olympia London, allowing us to talk to some great people, understand the latest industry trends, and ensure we are continually learning and developing our knowledge base, so we can translate this into value for our clients.

Compliance Delivery in the Past Fortnight:
As previously mentioned, our team has been incredibly dedicated to delivering the reports your projects needs, to the regulatory standard that they require to the efficient and accurate standards your project requires.
- SAP Calculations: We completed SAP Calculations at the As Designed stage for multiple projects over the past couple of weeks from new-build developments, large individual projects and blocks of flats as well. In these projects we worked closely with clients to ensure the design not only met their specific needs but also achieved regulatory compliance against the mandatory Target Emission Rate (TER), Target Primary Energy Rate (TPER), and Target Fabric Energy Efficiency (TFEE).
- Domestic and Non-Domestic EPCs: Amongst all other commitments, our team have completed more than 10 site visits for both Domestic and Non-Domestic EPC production. This involved producing detailed floor plans and modelling sites, allowing calculations to be run to ensure compliance with the regulations. From domestic homes to community centres, we have not only guaranteed compliance but also engaged with clients to identify methods to improve energy ratings, enabling clients to have improved assets for sale or rent.
- Sound Insulation Testing: We completed over 20 sets of sound insulation tests across 5 multi-dwelling projects with testing conducted on party walls and floors for both airborne and impact testing. Truly nationwide, we ensured a 100% pass rate across projects from flats in Harrogate to apartments in Holywell, Wales. Through our efficient approach and flexibility, we were able to prevent delays and ensure our clients’ projects were kept on schedule and ensure no extra costs were required.

The London Build Expo 2025 was an opportunity we could not pass up to grow our knowledge and continuously improve our knowledge of the constantly developing industry we operate in, ensuring we are continuing to provide the best services possible to our clients.
